To whom it may concern:

Mitchell Thrower III joined the Small Business Bureau whilst in England on an Internship Programme in London early in 1989.
During the short period he was with us, Mitchell worked as a researcher and undertook the major task of updating the UK Small Business Awards list. This entailed updating information already on file and obtaining information on new small business awards, compiling all information into book format with the use of desk top publishing, and ensuring that the awards were indexed and cross-indexed for easy access to the reader. This list was the only one of its kind in the UK and was extremely beneficial to small businesses who purchased it.

He was also involved in the day-to-day running of the Bureau, assisting with telephone queries and manning the office when staff were away at meetings. Mitchell also assisted at one of the Women into Business Seminars - these were held on a Saturday and therefore necessitated that he worked on one of his free days.

Mitchell is a hard worker, works competently and efficiently on his own and is not afraid to use his own initiative. He is a very personable young man and mixes easily with people from all walks of life. I am confident he will be successful in whatever career he chooses and it was a privilege to have him work with us.
